Introduction |
The mitochondrial 28S ribosomal protein S33 in humans is encoded by the MRPS33 gene. This gene encodes a highly conserved 28S subunit protein among mammals, Drosophila, and Caenorhabditis elegans. Although splice variants differing in their 5' untranslated regions (UTRs) have been identified for this gene, all of these variants encode the identical protein. |
