Introduction |
RPL13 plays a role in the antiviral immune response triggered by the foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) by inhibiting its replication. Overexpression of RPL13 enhances the induction and activation of promoters. Beyond their functions in ribosomal protein synthesis and protein translation, ribosomal proteins, including RPL13, are also implicated in tumorigenesis and tumor progression, immune responses, as well as viral replication. |
