Introduction |
In humans, the RPS9 protein is encoded by the RPS9 gene, which produces a ribosomal protein that forms part of the 40S subunit. This protein belongs to the S4P family of ribosomal proteins and resides in the cytoplasm. Notably, mutations or abnormalities in the RPS9 gene have been linked to conditions such as Takayasu Arteritis and Diamond-Blackfan Anemia. |
